Maple brown oatmeal, 2 egg whites
Yummy !

I read that it is very important that after your work out you have protein and healthy carbs.
Well there it is, those egg whites aren’t really exciting though. Hahaha πŸ™‚

    What kind of maple brown oatmeal is that??? How much sugar is in it per serving? What you should do is buy plain oatmeal and sweeten it yourself with stevia and pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon! πŸ™‚ Now that’s healthy!! Oh and you can totally jazz up those egg whites too with some cinnamon… Better yet, mix the oats and eggs together, make a pancake and top with cinnamon and stevia! Talk about fun to eat and delicious!

      the oatmeal is like a quaker oats, package thing that you microwave. i didn’t really read into the facts. but thanks! I’ll try out what you’re suggesting. the less sugar the better!

    Hey there! Thanks so much for the follow! I actually just recently sat in on a nutritionist talk and took away the following…1. There are no “no” foods…just have to eat them sparingly (this helps you stay on the wagon, when you know you can still have your favorites, even if they’re not good for you, as long as you limit them). 2. Protein is your friend…good for you, makes you feel full longer. But make sure it’s good protein (lean meats, peanut butter, nuts). 3. Good easy snacks are: cheese sticks, cheese sticks wrapped in chicken/turkey lunchmeat, apples, celery, carrots, etc. dipped in peanut butter, nuts (try to avoid salted ones, though) and homemade trail mixes (we use granola and mix in raisins and a few M&Ms- yum). Hope some of those can work for ya!
